Powerpole connections

Postby 64tango » Thu May 21, 2009 11:55 am

Several people have noticed the connectors I use on my electric powered aircraft and asked me about them. I use Anderson Powerpoles, to me they offer superior reliability and connectivity. In fact there are a lot of advantages to them and the link below to West Mountain Radio describes them well.

I became familiar with them and their distributor through my many years as an amateur radio operator. A lot of the Transceivers and accessories used by a ham runs on DC power. It is not unusual for a ham to have a large capacity DC power supply and a DC distribution system to supply this power. For years Anderson Powerpoles have been the preferred method.

Here's a link to West Mountain Radio's RC section: http://westmountainradio.com/RCintro.htm
